Pastor Tim Dreier

History:
Rev. Tim Dreier was born in 1959 in Gaylord, MN, He attended high school
in Gaylord and graduated in 1978. He attended college at Concordia College
in St. Paul, MN, where he played football for four years. He graduated
college in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business along with fulfilling
the requirements for seminary. Rev. Dreier attended Concordia Seminary
in St. Louis, MO., where he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree
in 1986. In 1986 his first call was to be a Missionary-at-Large for the
LCMS Oklahoma District serving both Trinity, Sallisaw, and Good Shepherd,
Eufaula, OK. While serving in Sallisaw, Rev. Dreier had the opportunity
to plant a church at a local horse track called Blue Ribbon Downs. In 1991
he was called as the Senior Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran in Tulsa, OK.
In 1994 Rev. Dreier began his Doctorate of Ministry program at Oral Roberts
University in Tulsa, OK, and due to family commitments in 1996 put his
doctorate on hold with one semester remaining. Rev. Dreier is married with
five children, one grandchild, and currently is serving at Our Savior Lutheran
Church and Ablaze Live Church which is a satellite church of Our Savior.
Hobbies:
Rev. Dreier has been a volunteer basketball coach for the last ten years.
He coached eight years at Tulsa Lutheran School and for the last two years
at a local public elementary school. Rev. Dreier loves to duck hunt, snow
ski, and spend as much time as possible with his children on the lake during
the summer months.
Goals:
Rev. Dreier would like to finish his Doctorate of Ministry by 2010 and plant
another new church or mother a new church by 2009
